This report prepared by Westat, an external evaluator, provides an in-depth understanding of families served by the HNF program for at least a year. It focuses on health and behavioral health, family stability as it relates to involvement with the child welfare system, and residential stability. Families in the program for 12 months or longer experienced significant improvements in employment, income, family stability, and behavioral health. Future analyses will compare these families with those not receiving the HNF intervention and shed light on the role permanent supportive housing plays in family outcomes, and include a cost analysis.
