Targeted to school-based staff and community-based organizations that partner with schools, this training is designed to provide insight, tools, and resources for creating and sustaining effective school/housing community partnerships to better support students and families experiencing homelessness. Hear from local programs, engage in eco-mapping to imagine what partnership looks like in your community, explore how schools and community providers can better identify and leverage partner’s expertise, and set aside time to network with your school/housing partners.

Presenters: Kayla Blau, writer and youth advocate; Joey Heilman, Senior Education Strategy Specialist, Building Changes; and Samie Iverson, Senior Manager of Education Strategy, Building Changes.
